Tips and Tricks for Panama (As of 2012)

Panama City:

Getting There – From David to PC is $15 USD. Once there a $4-5 cab ride should get you into town.

Staying – Hotel Rocio will run you $23 a night for a nice private room with a private bath, not to mention free porn! Ha! Mamallena is one of the greatest hostels with literally no rules. Dorms are $13 USD and includes free coffee and pancakes for breakfast. Same as Luna Castle just a hell of a lot less people.

David:

Getting There – (From San Jose, Costa Rica) We crashed in David for a night to break up the trip, but the bus there was 9,000CR. You will also need a cab to the terminal for 2500CR.

Staying – Purple house is fine for a night as well, about 10$ USD per bed in a dorm.
